UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- Israel's forces will not leave Lebanon until a U.N.-led multinational force arrives, "even if it takes months," Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Dan Halutz said Wednesday.[/b]
The United Nations plans to deploy between 3,000 and 3,500 troops within 10 to 15 days into southern Lebanon as a "vanguard force" working with Lebanese troops to consolidate the cease-fire there, according to Deputy Director of U.N. Peacekeeping Hedi Annabi.
I have afeeling something is going to cause this conflict to flare up again.

Add the Un blue hats to the thousands of Lebanese army and Israeli army. The Hesbollah is still there and you know they will shoot at everyone. Flair up...you can bet on it.

Is the war between Lebanon and Israel or Hesbollah and Israel? It seems like Lebanon is a soft front for Hesbollah, I guess they are actually running the country? Either wayHesbollah needs to be made gone and if Lebanon wants to stand in the way so be it! Just one bone head's opinion.

This will never end.... until the end of times.
According to the Bible, thats true. Peace in the middle east, and the rebuilding of the temple, will be signs of the apocalypse. And since the Golden Dome is controled by Muslims, I dont see it happening any time soon.

I don't feel the Lebanon wantsHezbollah there and I don't feel like they are standing in Israels way. The issue of a soft front is valid though and Hesbollah hides behind the general population. Civilians are being killed and they are for the most part Lebanese and not Hesbollah. Lebanon is being destroyed and Israel did it so that will continue on and on and on.

With the tight control of information & deliberate misinformation coming from Lebanon by the Hezbollah islamic terrorists, we will likely not know how many of these terrorists were really killed - I imagine it's much more than they allow the media to tell. Add to that the desire of most of the world's media to downplay any negative toward these terrorists, the story will likely never really be told.
I hope (seemingly against hope) that this UN force will be successful in stopping the trafficing of arms to Hezbollah. Likely they won't, & will come under fire from Hezbollah. My fear is that this UN force will stay "in the way" if Hezbollah resumes rocket attacks on Israel.
About the only good thing is that Israel can now focus on Hamas, which I hope they do & wipe that islamic terror organization from the face of the earth!
