Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Just a comment

I'm only 15 years old, but I have a comment to make. I am so sick of people blaming everything on Bush. "Oh, Bush did this" or Bush caused this." It's rediculus. Everyone is making a big deal out of him spending 5 times Clinton. Well, Clinton didn't have two National tragedies did he? I hear comments a lot in High School, kids saying, "Bush shouldn't have gone to war." Such an ignorant statement. First of all, it wasn't Bush's decision. Second of all, all those young people over in Iraq knew that them going to war was a possibility, and if they or their parents didn't want them to go to war they should never have joined. There is always those loser jerks that always critique the President, no matter how good or bad of a job he does, that just live by putting other people down. Well, it needs to end. Those are the same people that are going to put down the next president, and the next, until they die. Well, George Bush is a regular person like everyone else and he makes decisions constantly, like everyone else, occasionally making a decision that many disagree with. Justlike a decision I made the other day. My mom disagreed with me wanting a $750 dollar bow. Well, it's my decision and there are always going to be people that dislike the decision. Well, you are going to have to deal with that. Bush is the President of the United States and his job is to protect our country and make decisions, which he is doing a pretty good job at. He represents millions of people, and 99% of the population whould crack under the pressure he withstands during one day. Try calling your job hard afteryou see what decisions he has to make.

Flyfish, its good to question things sometimes, if you go through life with total and unquestionable trust in the government your a fool.how are you going to react down the line when we have a liberal president that wants to take your guns and tells you its for your own safety?from what you just wrote youll let it happen and not put any blame at all on him.

You're right, ps, it's good to question things--like all the times that ignorant loudmouths lambast the president because they disagree on policy issues, as fly mentioned.

Oh, and when I was 15, two things were on my mind--volunterring for the Libertarian Party and getting the proto-Mrs. Six to "get stuck" in the elevator at school with me. Some kids do things a little differently than others.

Actually, I hate politics, especially learning about them in high school. Right now, hunting is all that's on my mind. I really don't know much about what all Bush is doing so that is why I just said it was just a comment.

If I get someone doing that i will take action. I don't know much about politics right now, like I said the thing about Bush was just a comment on his overall job.

I don't understand. On one hand you say that we should lay off Bush. On the other you are saying you don't know what's going on. Are you saying that nobody should be critical of the president? That the citizens of the country shouldn't make a rukus about federal spending that is way above Clintons?

Here's a newsflash for you. Federal spending is going way up regardless of the Iraq war and Katrina.

You're doing just fine flyfish. Less than half of our citizens pay much attention to politics which is largely how we got where we're at. If more people paid attention and cared about how OUR money was spent, things would undoubtedly be much different and more fiscally sound. Only a fool would not care how up to 40+% of his annual income is spent by others.
