Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Suspected illegals die in Arizona crash

YUMA, Arizona (AP) -- A sport utility vehicle crammed with suspected illegal immigrants rolled over in an attempt to outrun Border Patrol agents, killing nine people and injuring at least 12 others, officials said.[/b]
Five of the injured, including a pregnant woman, were in critical condition, most with head trauma, hospital officials said.

In the Yuma sector, which spans 118 miles of land in Arizona and California, 20 illegal immigrants had died through Sunday and another six skeletal remains had been found, Soto said.

The Yuma area, a sandy stretch of desert in southwestern Arizona, has become the nation's busiest immigrant-smuggling hotspot. President Bush visited the area in May as part of his push for a sweeping overhaul of immigration laws.

After a crackdown on illegal border crossing, the Border Patrol's Yuma Sector reported a 48 percent drop in migrant arrests -- from 11,522 in June 2005 to 6,030 in June this year.

you know, I can sympathize with the poverty down in Mexico and the reasons they choose to try coming here but when they cram that many people into a SUV and try outrunning the law I cant feel sorry for them.Dying aint much of a living, and they made thier choice.

Sad, very sad..... It would have never happened if they had kept the border REALLY closed all the time instead of deciding to finally start cracking down.

Make it illegal to hire anyone who isn't a citizen or has a work card and enforce the laws with stiff penalties. Same thing goes for the welfare. Take away the cause of all the illegals trying to get here and the rest falls in line. If there isn't any work or money for them to live they won't come. We can still accept immigrants in keeping with our open border history but make them go through the proper channels and become legitimate citizens.

Along those same lines did you know that recently Iowa had to actually pass a law to keep illegals from getting a valid drivers license[:'(]I cant get one if I forget my social security card but they have to pass legislation to make t illegal for illegals to obtain them.Whats wrong with that picture.

last year dad was diagnosed with cancer, with the chemo, medications, and the pain he could no longer work. But they denied him any assistance and made him come in for an interview. While he was waiting a pregnant mexican lady that spoke no english was at the counter.Since she didnt understand the paperwork or the language they assured her they would take care of everything and she would be covered for the delievery of her baby[:@]Guesse what, dad was denied again cuz he didnt make enough money, it took 6 months of appeals for him to recieve any help.wont be long we will be putting them up in hotels indefinataly and giving them charge cards like we did Katrina survivors.

This is what I've been saying all along , although I favor a well defended border as well . No trabajo and near constant lead storms will generally deter even the most persistant ******* .
