I would object to this post because I know several Muslims who are good Americans. As a matter of fact, I'd invite them into my home before I would many white-skinned, red-blooded, Christian-persuased Americans I know.
If, on the other hand, this post was entitled "can a FUNDAMENTALIST Muslim be a good American," I would agree whole-heartedly.

Very well said Ben, I concur whole heartedly. I do not like bigotry and that is exactly what this is.

Charlie thereis probably more religous bigotry then any other kind of bigotry in the world, I would be willing to say that there have probably been more people killed in history due to religion as well.
