Pols here are pressuring to have the trade embargo against Cuba lifted because Cuba is now apparently in possession of new and very promising oilfields just off their coast . Why on earth would a nation lead by a man who hates us to his core sell us oil ? Would it not be better for us to just open up exploration in the mid Gulf of Mexico where we already know there's oil rather than getting in bed with the devil ?

Money!!!! Castro has already sold his sole to Satan, I am sure as strapped for cash as what Cuba is if we lifted the embargo he would be more then happy to sell us oil.

As far as the embargo against Cuba goes, to me keeping it in place is a joke when you consider our relationship with China and Viet Nam, especially Nam after the war.
