Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Medieval book of psalms unearthed

DUBLIN, Ireland (AP) -- Irish archaeologists Tuesday heralded the discovery of an ancient book of psalms by a construction worker while driving the shovel of his backhoe into a bog.[/b]

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/07/25/ireland.psalms.ap/index.html

The approximately 20-page book has been dated to the years 800-1000. Trinity College manuscripts expert Bernard Meehan said it was the first discovery of an Irish early medieval document in two centuries.

The book was found open to a page describing, in Latin script, Psalm 83, in which God hears complaints of other nations' attempts to wipe out the name of Israel.

Um, I'm pretty sure that's the wallet I lost two years ago.

Is there a Starbuck Coffee card in it?

Well, there is certainly nothing new about that. There's only been fighting there since X years B.C.E. up to modern times. And more years of fighting than peace. It's only the word of those that found it that that was where it was opened to when found. And then there is that if it's from somewhere in the years 800 to 1000, the "reclamation of the holy Land" was more than a hot topic and made up a large portion of liturature of the time, especially that of the church.

I knew you'd appreciate the article "pith", but the timing is odd...well I guess they are always fighting in the middle east anyway so timing is irrelevant....

Do you think they had some sort of version of a newpaper back then?

Captions on posters like " Brother Bigby captures 2 fireflies in a flask " come watch the show best seen after dark out back of the church. ??
