BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Saddam Hussein used his day in court Wednesday to call on Iraqis to oust the Americans from Iraq and to request execution by firing squad -- not a hangman's noose -- if he is sentenced to death.[/b]

He is their prisoner and they should decide how and if they are going to execute him. Stoning is pretty cool and kind of a tradition over there. It doesn't end too fast because they have bad arms but sooner or later one will hit the mark.

Hanging is Iraqi law, Sadaam is to big of a coward to face the hangmans noose, that is why he wants to be shot, quicker, less painful!

If they truly want justice they should hand him over to us to be imprisoned for the rest of his life . From there POV there could be no greater shame for him than to be handed over to "the infidel" to be caged like a monkey and shamed until he dies . That would deny him entry to Paradise too , so no virgins or sitting next to Allah . A steady flow of pork products and "other impurites" added to his food would also be insured .

hanging... a bullet is to quick of a death. he deserves to feel the fear of dying. a bullet will be to easy and quick for him. i say kill him the way he used to torture the thousands that he killed. and plus, i hear u **** your pants when they hang you. he deserves that type of treatment.

If one is hanged properly, the neck immediately snaps. He said he didn't want to be treated like a "common criminal." I, for one, do not care how the sentence is executed if they do give the death penalty - just do it! Heck, a .22 to the temple would do the trick, just don't let him know when it's going to happen...
