Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

oil prices have gone up ......... no, thats a negative

the US looks like the Savior of the World ......... no, no that didn't happen

Iraqi people embrace the US with love and respect ...... ummmmmmm no, thats not it

hmmmmmmmmm

Seriously, in the long run the people in Iraq will be better off I believe. They were living a hell with Saddam in power, thats no secret. While it was unusual (for lack of better words) for us to overthrow a govt like that, Iraqi people will be better off in the long run.

Thats a hard thing to put a price on.

Also, it showed the world that scrwe the UN we'll do what we want to do, when we want to do it, and you best stay out of the way when we do.

When you're the big dog of the world, you gotta keep that biggness.

Um remember resolution 1441.... It showed the world that we were the only country that actually would back up their words w/ actions. Every country agreed it needed to be done, we were the only ones to have the courage to do it.

I personally think it was a great thing to do. Spread freedom to those who werent free, and give us a great strategic advantage. It wouldnt have been long before saddam attacked someone or before his sponsored terrorists groups hit us. It was a very wise strategic move.

The DECIDERrules!

I agree that if we didn't back up the resolution, we'd be picked on like a yellow belly in a school yard. The problem with liberals is that their utopian solutions don't work in the real world!

Sadame is gone and millions of people now have a good chance to live in freedom as will their children and their children. Best of all, maybe a democracy in the middle east.
