Bungling the evacuation?

The newest news is that the U.S. is bungling the Lebanon evacuation because we can't get 25,000 folks out of a war zone in a few days at zero cost to them. So, I guess that we can do nothing right. Its a sheer miracle that we became the most powerful, wealthy nation on earth, right?[:@]

I hear ya Lanse, I can't believe I am hearing that crap too...the critics are targeting the western world to incite infighting and drag us into it...the critics are being fed lies from the middle east and arab fundamentalists.

I don't give a DAMN about ANY "American" who lives in Beirut. What are they doing over there in the first place? You can't tell me they are over there for the sprawling economy. Not only should they pay the cost of a that cruise ship but they should be charged BY THE HOUR for every single Navy ship and Air Force aircraft that is used to help them. 8,000 want out, well then divide the MILLION$ pricetag by each one and make them pay BEFORE they set foot on any ship.

DON'T leave the safety of this country for another, ESPECIALLY a rathole like Lebanon only to then cry, wail and scream for America to come haul your traitor butt back out in a time of emergency.

Why in hell do we even have an embassy in Lebanon???
