Wringing there necks is a whole lot quicker then the old axe deal! That and they tend to run a bit after getting wrung.

I don't have a problem with it , how much fresher can chicken get than that ? I'd rather eat chicken killed that way than some of the factory practices , especially if the birds had been raised under sanitary conditions . At the very least you'd know exactly how old the meat was . At some of the asian markets I've shopped at overses you chose your poultry live "on the hoof" and they slaughtered it right there in front of you , best chicken I've ever had .
