Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Everything is slowly falling into place according to Revelations in the Bible. Isreal being attacked from the North, We will be sent in to help them eventually, next the antichrist will rule this great nation (Hillary gets elected President) God help us all.

Whewwww!!!! You had me worried for a minute. I was afraid the Demos might actually stockpile their moeny on a good candidate who could win. Let them waste it on Hillary. She won't win and will take the Democratic party down with her.

1st off, it's a little early to say who will be the main candidates on either side. Yes, several people are positioning themselves to run but it's still premature to say somebody will be the final candidate for either the Republicans or Democrats.

On the Democratic side (besides Hillary), you could possibly see another run by Lurch (Kerry) or his running mate, Al Gore or possibly one of the rising people in their party. On the republican side, people are taliing about Condi Rice and McCain as the frontrunners but concede that Rudy Giulani, Jeb Bush and a few others could run also.

At this point, nobody has a lock on their respective party's nominations and many of us voters will have to be convinced to support a single candidate out of these respective groups. I think the Republicans have the opportunity to nominate somebody who could easily beat Hillary and retain the White House.

The real question, however, is when is a 3rd party and candidate going to get serious and realize that they have to co-opt the center or moderate issues from the Demos and Repubs if a 3rd party ever seriously wants to win the office. If that ever happens, watch out because it will be a radical changing of the political climate and we'll see a whole lot more get done in this country by our gov't.

Yes, that is the real question. One that I have asked before in hopes that we don't have to be SOLD on a candidate from either side. There is and always will be( until a 3rd party gets elected) nit-picking from both sides.so instead of us all bickering about the right or left, both of which aren't worth a crap, why don't we find a 3rd party? Why keep our focus on the left and right, when we can find the right person for the job.

The problem is the absolute closest we've ever come to electing a 3rd party candidate was Ross Perot who later turned out to be quite a nutcase. Until a few quality 3rd party candidates get elected and help establish a 3rd party, the premise of a 3rd party will continue to die each election cycle with non-electable people like Ralph Nader, etc.
