Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

This is highly disturbing , apparently the powers that be may have been a bit too free with the heavy handed tactics , let's hope this poll is wrong .

don't worry Kev. We haven't managed to give the middle of the political spectruma cogent reason to vote for us, other than "we're not the republicans." no doubt in my mind we'll find a way to screw it up.

being a democrat these days is a lot like being a cubs fan. i'm sitting here waiting for Bartman.

I don't think that theshifting public opinion is pro-democrat, per se, butanti-status quo.

It's obvious to most that neither party has been very competitive in terms ofseeking support fromconstituents. Americans are getting pretty tired of the partisan BS in Washington and want to shake things up. I don't blame them.

People tend to answer polls out of anger or frustration. They don't like what the Republicans aren't doing or accomplishing but they also realize the Demos are not promising to fix the problems, just give us different problems. These polls won't mean too much until there are genuine 3rd party alternatives with real solutions and a perceived ability to actually get elected. Once that happens, the Republicans and Demos will have to get their acts together or become 2nd class parties.
