This just begs everyone to go, "DUH!!!!!". When you don't allow citizens to arm themselves, this is the result.

I have been to DC as a chaperone on a school trip a while ago, and won't go back to that tourist trap again, where crime is running amok and people are totally helpless. [:'(]

I could never put up with living in a crime-ridden area. I think that once a particular area reaches a certain threshold in terms of numbers of violent crimes within a certain time-frame, then its time to declare martial law and send in troops. That may sound extreme, but American citizens shouldn't have to live like that.[:@]

myco-worker just moved to my little town and he's from New Orleans.

He wanted to know A) why everyone had guns, B) why the nationality was 98% white and C) why crime was so low

I told him A) we're conservative Republican minded people and the answer to B & C was A

I'm in DC right now. The unabated liberal democrat cesspool is indeed a disgrace. In this city, they confiscate guns from murderous thugs only to find the police was supposed to have that gun in storage from confiscation from another murderer some time back.

The only good that comes of such crime is that much of it is thug on thug, which tends to have a cleansing effect!

the cops are so out gunned by the crinminals there and always have been. this is how to fix dc. first you give all the criminals,gangbangers,and dope pushers hand grenades. let them blow eachother up and then hire the homeless to clean it all up. 2 problems solved.

I'm sure the statist elite in DC will spin this as guns coming in from other areas; all being the gun's fault while they blissfully ignore the persons committing the crimes, & the persons victimized...
