Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Has Al Qaida recently become a signatory to the Geneva Convention ?

Geneva what ?

I wasn't aware that terrorist organizations were signatories to or even respect the Geneva Convention , so why should the Guantanamo detainees have any of the rights accorded by it ?

Your thoughts ?

Pretty popular these days to overlook the victims and thier rights while catering hand and foot to the criminals and thier rights. This is kind of a refreshing change.

On the other hand if they got people in thier thats biggest crime was being seen talking to the wrong person then Id have to agree something needs done.I guesse Im not familiar enough with all the prisoners and thier crimes to make an informed decision.

As far as the Geneva Convention goes we signed it so weather they did or not doesnt really matter, were bound by it.

Another thing to consider is do we as a nation want to take the high ground or lower our selfs to that of the terrorist?

I heard the prisoners were upset there wasn't enough humus on their pizzas...I guess terrorists have rights now....

could be this is just the best way to unload the whole lot of em...I say put em on aship and send them back to Afganistan...then on the way the ship could accidently sink...
