The Associated Press put the death toll at up to 100. Officials said more than 300 people were injured in the blasts, which took place between 6:20 and 7 p.m. (1250 and 1330 GMT) when the trains were packed with commuters making their way home.

A senior Bombay police official, P.S. Pasricha, told The Associated Press the explosions were part of a well-coordinated attack.

I just saw this on the news ,I am begining to see a patternin these attacks.

Al Qaeda Claims to Have Kashmir Wing, Applauds Train Bombings

SRINAGAR, India "”A man claiming to represent Al Qaeda told an Indian news agency on Thursday that the terror network had set up a wing in Kashmir and appealed to Indian Muslims to take up jihad.

In a statement read over the phone to Kashmir's Current News Service, a man who identified himself as Abu al-Hadeed, reportedly said: "whosoever has carried out the attacks in Bombay we express our gratitude and happiness."

Officials in India today named two suspects in the deadly Bombay train bombings that killed more than 200 people, The Associated Press reports.

One has to wonder why Al Qaida would have a cell in Kashmir , what's in it for them ?
The Kashmiri separatists are the overwhelming favorites in this donkey race toward total stupidity , muslims in India are a very tiny minority and know better than to rock the boat with the Hindu majority because they would quickly go extinct . If the AQ link is for real then at best they're just agitating things hoping to rile up the Indians into attacking Pakistan .
