Many in the democrat leadership look to the illegals as a potential voting block. I think they will likely try to keep pretty quiet on this issue. Not sure if they have any other issues for which one could vote FOR them, but this certainly won't be one...

kev, he's making the best of a bad situation. unfortunately (at least from my perspective), the DNC has continued to show its complete and total inability to use ANY issue to win a nationwide election. If a story came out with uncontroverted proof that Bush, Rove at al were in a league with satan, and tortured puppies, the DNC would still find a way to screw it up.[X(]
