Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default 1/2 ton Mexican man loses 200 lbs...so far...

Remember our thread about the big Mexican man?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060627/ap_on_he_me/mexico_half_ton_man

His goal is to lose another 770 pounds.

"People think that I can eat a whole cow but it's not just overeating, it's also a hormonal problem," Uribe said. "For now, I'll keep doing the diet and if I get stuck I'll consider the surgery."

If I recall correctly he originally was going to Italy to have the surgery.

I must say I find it odd that if it is a hormonal problem that a diet alone would work. However he may be getting hormonal treatment and the article simply fails to mention it. Obviously the doctors were honest with him about the dangers of the surgery and he finally found the will power to diet.

If he loses it via will power I will give him a big hurrah, he has done well so far, 200 pounds is quite impressive.

This really has nothing to do with it, but is he doing the splits?

I can't do that, and I'm in decent shape.

If he drops 700 more pounds, he's gonna look like a sharpei.

So he's lost nearly my body weight by doing what he should have done in the first place ? Good for him .
