I for one, cannot believe that he's still alive....
nomatter who gets freed and nomatter what we do in iraq it will all go down the toilet again when we withdraw cause they dont want peace. think about it they live in a war torn country that the only goverment they have seen is a dictatorship and bloody wrath if they dont comply. they have no sence of stability, no value of currency, no value of life. nothing and all we are doing is sending our soldiers to a shooting gallery and for what? whether anyone wants to believe it or not saddam is a hero to his people and now a martar that just happens to still be alive for now. and now we are waisting our tax dollars on a worthless trial. we should have shot him in the hole he was hiding in and been done with it. now we are going to see the longest trial ever and for no good outcome. we never found the wmds and we already knew he was a tyrant and a ruthless dictator which is what weve known for 20 years so what is the point of a trial. does anyone truly believe he will get a fair trial? do you think that anyone in the usa are going to want to hear his side of things and feel sorry for him? i say throw the bastard in general population and let him be somebodies cell monkey for awhile. terroism will still happen and we will be the biggest target because we are the western devils to all middle east. im a devoted republican but i have a real problem with the bush family being in bed with the middle eastern oil tycoons who openly fund the terrorist groups and saddams family and legal defense.

What has suddam done wrong when he complied to the laws of our government??What???I say bring rumsfield up on charges also..He shook his hand...That is as good as a signed document..If anyone thinks people can't change over time...Then you are the same as you was when you was growing up...All the closets that need to be open..Open them...

HEAD HUNTER I have to assume that you have never been to Iraq and have never spoken to or known any one who has by your statements.
My son was in Operation Iraqi Freedom, the majority of Iraqis hate Sadaam and were and are still ecstatic he is gone. The vast majority of resistance now and during the war were not Iraqi, but foreigners.
