Default Time to ban Rat Terriers

I guess its time to ban Rat Terriers. My grandmother was out watering the flower garden in the front of her house when a Rat Terrier came up behind her and attacked her heal. The dog ripped a pretty good gash in her ankle, which required 7 stitches to close. She also broke two ribs from the subsequent fall that the dog caused. She was lucky that all she got from the fall was broke ribs, it could have been much worse.

[/align]I have to hand it to Granny, she didn't hesitate, she grabbed her scatter gun and put the little ankle bitter out of her misery. She called the cops and then me. When I got to her house I noticed the cops were already there , as was the man who owned the dog. The funny thing about this whole event was when I noticed the cop was writing out a ticket, which I had expected was going to my grandmother. Turns out, the cop was writing the ticket out to the man who owned the dog. This was not the first time this dog has been called on, and the dog owner had been told to keep the dog put up. So the cop wrote him a ticket for violating the leash law.

I say way to go Granny...not good about the bite and ribs but she did the right thing by blasting it....glad she's ok after all that, hope she heals up soon and can get back to her flowers...will you be covering watering duty while she's resting?

I am also gladthat the cops handed the dip owner a ticket...

How is she doing now?

Burnie sounds like she is one heck of a lady, I hope she recovers quickly.

No need to ban a dog that is dead though!

BRP do you know what tongue in cheek is?

I am sure Burnie knows all to well that if it had been a pit that attacked her it would have been far worse then what it was.
