Tibetans ...
I don't know why anyone would want to eat something as stringy and nasty as a cat anyway , especially when there are plenty of nice tender tasty dogs around. I've had dog meat in the Phillipines , it was delicious .

It's all your fault too Lanse , you corruptor you !

Seriously , I don't know what their problem is , animal rights in a nation where anything with parents is considered at least edible ? See the "Laotian Rat" post , I've been to asian markets and the smell alone could make an ox keel over . Some of the "delicacies" featured in them are best left to the imagination . [:'(]

Last week i cooked a chaudin (stuffed pigs stomach) for Sunday supper. My favorite entree at the local Chinese buffet is mini-octopus cooked in red sauce. And for the 4th of July weekend, I'll be butchering and cooking snapping turtles. So, my diet can be pretty off the wall too. But, I don't think that i could do cat. Now, a nice fat puppy would be a different story.

I'm going to Montreal in August and plan to hang out in the French section of town. I plan to bring along a small container of Tony's to sprinkle on my sauce frites.

I would think that beagle puppy would be the most tender and juicy of the dogs. Pit bull puppy would likely require a long pot roasting.

Good for you Lanse, some of them frenchies need converting, I live 1.5 hrs away from Montreal, let me know when you go< i may be able to meet up with you for a cold one...

a dash here and a dash there??...you could make a new creation Canjun Poutine.....would be good....if you ever want to try something good....take some of your favorite shredded cheese and sprinkle it on top of a plate of french (freedom ) fries, then takes some piping hot chili or spagetti sauce and pour on top, wait a minute or two for cheese to melt....sprinkle with seasoning (Tony's?) and enjoy.....oh yeah don't forget an ice cold beer...
