saw this on the tv, the reports we saw mentioned the fact that certain manufacturers and their product labels are using wording that is misleading with respect to the UV types...UVA and UVB, UVB is the type that penetrates our skin deeper and can be more harmful, the claims on labelling give people the impression that they are protected from both types of UV's when in fact the UVB protection is barely worth mentioning at all.....one needs a magnifying glass to read the labels these days anyway....LOL
I agree with you about people not using their brains...helloooooooo sun screen only works for a while before you have to reapply it...and, when was the last time you saw someone working in a field picking veggies wearing only shorts or a bathing suit...going to be out in the sun all day wearing only sunscreen is just asking for it too....
I think the people most at risk are the folks living in the snow zones where they get sunburned quickly after winter is gone and they start shedding clothes....
