Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default trading the smokes for the morphine now fellers

Robbo, my buddy diagnosed with cancer who always had the "hell, you gotta die soemtimes' or "somethings gotta kill ya" has been hospitalized, tube in chest to drain the litres of fluid off his lung and on a morphine drip.

Gawd you gotta love what smoking does to the human body, don't you ?

10% chance of survival, and if he survives maybe a 5 year life expectancy. You reckon his 4 year old daughter will grow up wondering what her Daddy was like ? Will she remember him at all ?

It's academic now and I reckonhis 4 year old daughter will have lots of questions.

If this was my post, I would ask for prayers and well wishes.

Ifhe was my buddy, I would focus my attentionon what I can do now, for him and his family.

I will add him to the prayer list!..get the cam corder out, have him tell her about how he meet mom, and what he knows about bringing her up to this age...have him read her stories..
He needs a buddy..not someone to get mad at him....

ahhhh, not mad at him at all guys. He's incapcitated right now, I was out of town when he was admitted to the hospital, didn't know about it until 4 days later and he's went downhill that fast []Its likely he'll never get out of the hospital. Most of my co-workers thinks a few weeks maybe. A few of us here at work gathered up $1800 in donations for his wife and child.

Prayers ...... prayers have been given and said, I question whether Robbo wants to live at this point. He and I talked recently, he knows he's killed himself by smoking. Thats a heavy, heavy burden guys, it has to be.

So all you guys who smoke, step on up and smoke one for my dying buddy Rob ! Enhale that delicious cancer causing agent filled smoke and know that quite possibly you too can die a painful death like this ! [:'(]
