RE: Its about time.
This argument that Jefferson's office should not have been searched and his computer, papers, etc. not seized because it is a violation of the separation of powers of co-equal branches of government is hypocritical and spurious at best. Section 6 (quoted below) states a congressman/woman shall not be arrested at congress or to and from congress. It says NOTHING about giving congress immunity from a valid and lawful search warrant signed by a judge. Frist has it right when he said nobody in government should be above the law.
