Radical Idea?

I've not been able, with work & other stuff, to visit this forum as much as I used to. Good to see some old as well as new faces here.

With all the lead-up to the mid-term elections, we are bombarded with not voting for republicans & not voting for democrats, & the desire for a third or more party to come in & do whatever.

I have a simple idea - why not look @ each individual candidate's record & views, match the best candidate regardless of party with your views, & vote accordingly? It makes pretty good sense to me...

I do that all the time. It just so happens I end up voting the republican ticket...

We actually after 5 or 6 elections get people in office that reflect our views!

Man do you realize how many people who are party line voters would commit suicide if they actually did what you are suggesting and they found out how many people they had been voting for all these years did not reflect thier own views?
