Memorial Day Weekend.... (what are your plans?)

So what will y'all be doing this weekend and into Memorial Day? As most holidays go, the true meaning is blurred.While most of y'all will be getting drunk and setting the grill on fire, I'll be having my grandmother and grandfather up for the weekend. My grandfather is in his upper 80's and served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He recently had his upper lobe of his left lung removed because of cancer and is on oxygen. I'm going tofry him up some of his favorite fish and thank him (again) for his sacrifice to us and our country. This also goes to all of you on this forum who served in this United States Military. Thank you for your sacrifice...you are not forgotten. God bless.

I'm going to take my son to my parents place in southern Illinois, then spend the next three days frog hunting, jug-lining for turtles, and bass fishing farm ponds. I might even dust off the old .17 and pop a couple ground hogs.

I have the whole weekend off and plan to spend lots of time with the family and watch all of the war movies when they play them on satellite. For a minute, I considered if Bawana was just working for Cheney in the Whitehouse and then decided probably not.

My wife and I both have to work. Its just as well, Gas costs way to much to go anywhere.
