Uhh, what? The article mentions that we already have a bioterror monitoring system for humans and domesticated animals, but should we keep an eyeon wild animals, too?
Unless al Qaeda and other terrorists are hatching some evil scheme to kill off America's critters, it doesn't seem to make much sense. If I wanted to murder a few hundred thousand people, I'd head to the city, not the country.
Any diseases found in wildlife that could be suspicious would be reported to the Department of Defense and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
