Global warming rears it's ugly head again

The desertification of sub Saharan Africa has been occuring for thousands of years , now the planet is entering a warming phase loosely termed "global warming" , which it has also been doing off and on for thousands of years all by itself . According to this charitable organization nearly 200 millions Africans will die by the end of this century as a result if the wealthier nations don't radically reduce their use of fossil fuels . I figure the odds of that happening at around zilch since it would take phenomenal amounts of cash and isn't even technologically possible in the first place . Those 185 million were probably going to die anyway from disease and starvation since they apparently lack the capability to adapt to their changing conditions , and when their expanding ppulation and shrinking food base are considered I'd be amazed if that number wasn't actually low .

Some of these regions are not the greatest to be living in, so I ask myself why are they there....militants force these people there, then wait for international aid to come in to steal....should our soldiers be sent there to crush the militants and rebels?

why do these people live there and breed non stop ? Is it prosperous and healthy there ? no...could be mother nature's natural selection...

I agree that Global Warming is part of the natural cycle of things with our planet...if we cut use of fossil fuels and protectforests it should be for our air quality, without clean air we all die...

Why don't they just come on out and say what they REALLY want to say... "It's big, bad America's fault. More specifically it's WHITEYs FAULT!!! How dare WHITEY drive all those automobiles, produce things in all those factories and in general just live a quality, enjoyable life. WHITEY should just give Africa ALL their money as repayment for what they did too 'their' ancestors 400 years ago and in general 'just because'. WHITEY has had enough fun and lived well enough for centuries, now it's Africans turn..."

Am I the ONLY "whitey" who is about to throw up because of being blamed for global plight???

What do you know, China (one of the filthiest, most polluted countries ever) isn't mentioned until the last sentence of the article.

The facts are that sub-saharan Africans have been dying by the millions for millennia. Well, that and the whole global warming frenzy isn't supported by scientific fact--only theory. It's about time these anti-American/anti-corporation/pro-environmentalist groups stop wasting their time critizing the success and power of the United States and started thinking about how they can improve life in their own countries today.
