Does anyone else fear that is what we'll get if Hillary is elected? Say what you want about professionalism, who we are at the core effects everything we do. Contrary to popular belief, Hillary is a woman. I don't know about anyone else, but I find most women to obsessed with safety and even imposing safety. There's little doubt in my mind that a female president would implement this on a national level and we'd be living in a nation where there are no guns, booze, or rock 'n roll and all cars are modified so they cannot excede 45 mph.
For those of you doubt the feminine inclination toward safety, consider the dialogue on a hike with my girlfriend as compared to a hike with my college buddies.
Hike with the GF:
"Don't you dare try to climb that cliff face, what if you fall?"
"Don't jump off that boulder"
"Put that length of rusty pipe down"
Hike with college buddies:
"I bet you can't climb that cliff face"
"I dare you to jump off that boulder"
"Cool, a length of rusty pipe. Lets hit stuff with it."
Now, if the above scenarios are a metaphore for the state of the nation, which one would you choose?
Careful lumping us all together, VT. I might have to climb that cliff face, whack you upside the head with that rusty pipe and knock you off that boulder.
But seriously. I would hate to see Hillary in office, not because she's a woman, but because I can't stand her.
I think we need to judge each person by their own views, not by their gender. Unfortunately, sometimes it does seem that there are a heck of alot of dingbat female politicians. But for that matter, we've had some real doozies who were men too.

RE: Nanny State
I fear her because she changes positions like I change shirts. She will cling on to what ever is popular at the time. I see her point lots of fingers, but have yet to see her propose a solution. Hateing Bush and the Rep. is not a very legit position to take in trying to win an election.

That is a testament to her lack of political leadership, but what really scares me if her past activism, particularly in the liberal anti-war movement in the late 60's and early 70's. She's a peacenik utopian socialist, only all grown up now, and with tremendous influence within the Democratic Party.
