Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

All I can say is the man never met agood women ,ate a great steak.or spent any time hunting elk.Because if he had he not be killing himself for a little fame and a smaller fortune.

He's a wimp. Only 7 minutes?? He was two minutes short. Wimp.

Seriously, though, what an idiot. He's a fool. It's only a matter of time before he kills himself, and for what?

Evil Knievel, now there was a household name. Calculated risks. Blaine, on the other hand, seems to have gotten himself into a trap where he feels the need to keep doing something crazier and more far fetched in an attempt to keep his ratings up. It's only a matter of time . . .

The longest I've ever held my breath underwater was 3.5 minutes at the bottom of a 12 foot deep diving section , 7 minutes rivals South Seas pearl divers .

I honestly do not think it is for ratings. I think he has set personal goals in life and now has the opportunity to break them.
There is no doubt he is one talented guy.

Iwould not jeopardizemy health like he has but then again, who am I to pass judgement on anyone. Actually, I have a lot of respect for him.

Everyone chooses a path.

He's managed to elevate the game of illusion to the next level on a global scale and he's done it in short order. Not bad for a young guy from nowhere, born to no one in particular and starting with nothing more than a deck of cards and desire.

I'd never heard of him before last night.

Was that thing last night with him in the Orb of water an illusion?

I thought that a two hour build-up to a two minute shortfall was unremarkable. Thank god I only caught a frew sparatic moments of it.

He's just a weirdo like the freak shows that perform at Lollapolooza or something. David Blaine.............so what?................next.

look, if you want to stay submerged in ice, water, granite, concrete, tree bark or chicken poop for days at a time and suffer skin lesions, kidney failure, joint ailments etc etc while holding your breath for 9 + minutes go for it.

but I'm not going to watch it, nor pay anything to see it

Why ? people do dumb stuff all the time, www.wimp.com and I can get my giggles watching them there free
