I hear ya Lanse but the problem is, it's so messed up with millions of people displaced from homelands that it could be another Somlia, Mogadishu...the US got blamed for backing the warlords remember.

A lot of troops may not be necessary if people are willing to do surgical strikes that really hurt. The hell with shooting a missile at asuspected training camp. Trytaking out oil refineries, important factories, military bases, etc. If you start seriously hurting a nation's vital infrastructure or put its leaders in real danger, I think that you would be amazed at how quickly it will clean up its act.

He's right; this situation in Sudan is a terrorist attack waiting to happen. I not keen on the idea of launching some massive humanitarian aid mission, but if nothing else, disrupting and/or destroying the Islamic terrorism groups operating therewould becritically important for the U.S. and the world at large.
These jihadis run a global operation nowadays. Sometimes each faction operates lone and in the dark, but more and more groups are forming alliances in order to survive the U.S.-led anti-terror operations.
