You know how it goes--you don't make money in the entertainment business unless you're offending someone in the process. Personally, I'm offended more by their faces (especially Ms. Piggy there) than anything they write. Never stuck around to give the music much chance.
I wouldn't make much of this story. The girls lost any chance at rationality when they started insulting Bush and Texas the last time around, and if they have any hardcore fans left, I don't expect to see thembadmouthing Buddy Holly just for the sake of doing so.

You know what is cool, my mom went to school with Buddy Holly at Lubbock High. She is also on the very first advertisment poster the crickets made. Its a poster of the Crickets playing at the old roller rink and my mom is setting on the stage. We use to have one of the posters, but lost it in a few moves.

I think they understand what they are doing to themselves. I just think they don't care. I used to like their music a lot. But I have lost so much respect for them (especially Maines) that I'll never listen to them again. You gotta draw the line somewhere. This one was an easy one to draw.
The sisters were kinda good looking on one hand but a little weird looking on the other. Kind of like Maria Shriver.
