Not yet. The Hispanic guys building the houses up the street from me were on the job at 7:30 this morning. My guess is that most don't want to take the chance of being fired by not showing up for work.

I'm not sure why a legal immigrant would support illegal aliens. It would seem to be counter productive to their interests.

Traffic was relatively light on the way to work. Everything else seems to be going as it normally does.

I just asked a few of our hispanic workers if they supported this idea. Everyone of them said, and this is almost verbatim, "The I.N.S. needs to use this day and start checking green cards". I take it, that the legals are P.O.ed about the whole illegal thing. I was told by a few of them that they are P.O.ed at the buisnesses that use the illegals, which in turn helps keep the minimum wage low. As well as all the money the illegals earn is not taxed and gets sent back to Mexico.

None here.... I didn't pass by thewhite F250 King Cab w/trailer, that I always see every AM. It is usually loaded to the max with about 11-12 illegals crammed in the truck, and they go to work for landscaping/lawn service company somewhere...
