I dont know of it happening lately. When people bad mouth the soldiers and even soldiers of past wars. Some them respect. They go though alot being shot at every day. Dont agree with the war thats fine, but atleast show some respect towards the soldiers.

I agree totally. My grand fathers fought in WWI, Uncle in WWII and Korean, Dad, Father in law and cousins in Vietnam, Sister in Iraqi Freedom. I served in the US Navy. It sickens me to death. I do not know who is worse the enemy we can see or the enemy at home?

All I can say is that if some pinko who has never served badmouths a service member in my presence that service member will need all of his training to protect that pinko from me . I didn't face anywhere near the risks that good folks like Davidmil and Jimmy S did while I was in , but I served proudly and I won't put up with some peacenik know nothing commie punk running down our troops . "Love it or leave it" isn't just a slogan to me .

Yep, everone's an expert when it comes to politcs and all of that garbage, yet so many forget who pulls the weight of keeping this country together in the face of our enemies. Most people here at home aren't willing tocamp outin the desert for years on end and remain on call 24 hours a day to go and have people try and kill you for being an American.
When the anti-war, anti-soldier folks open their mouths, they simply expose themselves at the shallow, self-serving nuts they really are. I'll put my support behind a soldier over a protester any day.
I haven't seen anyone on these boards disrespect our soldiers.
Actually Charlie, there are a few who have wandered into that gray zone and a few others who have crossed a line. You are definitely not one of them. Usually, those posters don't last as they tend to insert their foot in their mouth regularly.
