Qatar Pledges $50M to Palestinians

DOHA, Qatar "”Qatar said Monday it would give the Palestinian government $50 million in aid to help make up for a shortfall after the United States and the European Union cut off funding.

Hamas has asked Arab countries to provide funds. But despite promises to give the authority $55 million a month, Arab nations have not given any money since the Hamas election victory.

OK so Hamas is getting money ( for what? ) now there's a difference between promising to give and actually giving...LOL

I agree Burnie, it appears they want a fully funded Hamas running the Palestinian Show ( money for explosive for sucide bombers fundraisers, that sort of thing ).....a projectto harass Isreal on the other side, while they by time to develop and hurl nuke missles at Isreal from the other side...

...or they may be looking to put the stomp on US Troops in Iraq too, they'd control right across the middle east then wouldn't they?

....or they are looking to draw the US and Allies into something in Iran to drain them from Iraq?

....the Iranian President is definitely causing a fuss and angering people and nations

I agree , it's just pot stirring and a show of support for their fellow arabs , even if they send the first check they won't send checks for long . Arabs are notorious back stabbers , once the cost gets high enough the teat will dry up .
