Wow if we had followed Teddys guidelines to the letter we wouldn't have a single American Indian left, and the population of Texas would be 1/10 of what it is today by throwing out 90% of the 5th & 6th generation Spanish speaking natives!

Does this include African-Americans , Mexican-Americans , and all of the the other PC generated hyphenations ? I hope so , I'm getting sick of saying all of them . [:'(]

My family emigrated here from Bavaria , Germany around the end of the Civil War , but I'm not German or German-American , I'm just plain American . Sorry , I don't speak German , Mexican , or any language other than English , learn to speak it if you want to stay here because I will never learn yours . COME HERE LEGALLY , is that so damned hard ? Contribute something other than your illicit prescence on our voter registration and welfare rolls , how the hell can you vote if you don't understand what the candidate is saying ? Don't make me go Andy Rooney on yer ass ! [:@]

I whole heartedly agree. Many of the what american's of this country have been here for a shorter time than a lot of the "african" americans and you don't see us running around calling ourselves german-americans, or french-americans, etc. How many "african" americans do you think have actually been to africa? If you can't speak english after you have been in this country for 5 generations there's something seriously wrong. I'm all for diversity, but diversity is differences inside of a group, not completely seperate groups. If a nation doesn't have any type of common features to fall back on (religion, orgin, or at the very least be able to talk to each other) then it won't be able to stay togeather as a nation that can get things done very effectively.

I picked up the school paper yesterday andnoticed the headline had awhole bunch of people on the streets. At first, I was wondering where they were pouring concrete.
