Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

The Bush administration said Monday that within 45 days it will give U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents the tools they need to verify such documents in the future.

It kills me to think they have the technology in place to detect it, it worked and the idiots let them slide with fake documents, not even a phone call!!!!

I manage a shipping department , the ease with which documents can be forged is stunning . I ship to international destinations frequently , as long as the paperwork looks jake they won't inspect the cargo other than a cursory glance or make phone calls . Without high tech gear at every port that freight travels through you could smuggle radioactive elephants if you wanted to .

The Dubai government must be manning our land borders too. Good thing we put a stop to those pesky A-rabs at the ports though. We're obviously much more capable of running the influx of goods into the country.

I've said this before. If your on the St Lawarence river and show up at the public dock at Cape Vincent there is a sign there that reads. If you arriving from Canada please pick up the phone and call for a border agent. They have to come down from about 40 minutes away, there is no one at the dock to make sure you even call. There are only about 80,000 priviate docks between cape vincent and Alaxandria Bay. You could off load a nuclear weapon three times a week and no one would know.
