Of course Ted Kennedy would come up with a bill that would give a free pass for people who have broken the law!

He got a free pass for killing someone, why shouldn't Mexicans get a free pass?

This bill would do nothing but promote more illegal immigration. If one person breaks the law and gets citizenship, why shouldn't everyone?

This doesn't make sense to me.....The reason they have the jobs they have now is because they are illegal and can't get anything else (and I guess Americans don't want the jobs or cant do them??). Once they are able to work in the US legally, do you think they are still going to keep working these jobs are find something better....and probably fill some quota.

This is crap. The quest worker program could be a good thing but it won't be. IF they would have to register and if there was a way to see that they did, then when there permit was up, screw the automatic renewel. At that point they gotta be out of here. Anyone here now illegally should go and start fresh. Our elected officials are such low life whimps. Illegal is illegal. We don't get any slack when it comes to our laws, I am sick and tired of the laws turning a blind eye to this problem. They have all done it, the Dems and the Repubs. As usuall it we the American workers that pay the price for it. They say it just jobs that Americans won't take. Why is that? They don't want to pay a decent wage, hell no we don't want those jobs.

James is right!! Both parties are responsible.
We don't need new laws or more laws.. we just need to enforce the laws we have. Holy Smokes, give me a break, this has been going on waytoo long, and it's going to get ugly. I had to go to Dallas today, I couldn't hardly get to where I was going due to the demonstrating high school kids.. They interviewed some on the news, most couldn't givethe reason for the demonstrations.

I hope they kill it. I don't have a problem with people immigrating here legally. Those are the people we probably want to become citizens. I don't want us to give everyone citizenship, deadbeats and all. I just want the one's here that actually benefit America, not just benefit from America.

That whole bunch in DC are a bunch of spinless worms. Why the heck should we not throw out every last illegal in this country. They say it would not be possible but they are not about to try. Like many, I am totally fed up with illegal immigration. Nothing will be done and we will end up a third world country with no say in our own government. We are fast becoming a minority in our own country. Is this what our soldiers have fought and died for for centuries? Man I don't think so. Every administration for decades has sold us down the road. Don't even try to turn this into a political thing, they have all screwed us over.[:@][:'(][

Alleged Time magazine poll says that 79% [:'(]of Americans FAVOR guest worker program??????? Another (Forget who) say 59% favor it?
I suppose if you only question the people you KNOW will reflect your opinion, you can design a poll to say WHATEVER you want.
