Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default North Korea: Access to Evil

This show was on one of the Directv channels "DTMS" channel #285

I am trying to find out when this show will be rebroadcast. If you get a chance to watch it, please do.

The things it reveals about North Korea will turn your stomach. The testing of chemical and bio weapons and how it is done is just sickening.

If I can find out if the show will be rebroadcast I will post the time and network.

"North Korea: Access to Evil" is the show title.

Thanks
Mr-Pirk

Default RE: North Korea: Access to Evil

Charlie P the group had been invited by the North Korean government. The group had requested to do a documentary on life in North Korea.
It seemed as though the North Korean had expected a puff piece. The film crew was in the hands of the official North Korean handlers the full time, and as expected everything they were allowed to film would make a person think North Korea was a paradise. Every one spouted the right hate of the USA on cue.

All of that was expected and a person could just shake their head at it.

What I found so disturbing was the information on the prisons and what goes on in them.
The film crew did in depth interviews with two escaped prisoners (one woman and one man) and one escaped prison warden.

The man had been a fast raising star in the military, once he reached a certain rank a more in depth background check needed to be done. It was discovered that when he was still an infant his father had been found guilty of some rule infraction. His father was sent to prison and died there.
Some time after his father"™s death a new policy was introduced. "śCollective Responsibility"ť and "śCollective Punishment"ť is part of the new policy. The man was put in prison as "śCollective Punishment"ť for his dad"™s supposed rule infraction (they punish down to the 3rd generation). His mother would have been put there with him along with any other brothers or sisters. His mom had died and he was an only child.

The prisons are basically slave labor camps. Little food and hard labor and regular torture that while disgusting, it wasn"™t really surprising. The folks are worked to death while the government makes them as miserable as possible.

The woman was brought to prison because someone in her small village had displeased someone. The policy of collective punishment is to put the whole village in prison if the village is a small one otherwise they just put the whole family of the offending party in prison. The prison workers and officials delight in using the younger women as sex slaves. The woman said the guards take special pleasure in killing any baby born to a prisoner. Normally they do this by taking the baby just after birth and standing on its neck in front of the mother.

The prisons are also the developing and proving grounds for the government"™s chemical weapons program. The man had just told of the torture, but the woman told of having to be a midwife for any pregnant girls and having to give the babies to the guards to be killed. She also told of being given a bowl of steamed cabbage leaves by guards and being told to give them to the older women assembled in a group. She was told to give out the cabbage but to not eat any of it herself.
The cabbage was laced with some new kind of poison the government wanted tested.
The woman said that the women vomited blood and bled out of other orifices and were in great pain till all were dead in about 20 minutes time.

The escaped prison warden told of the most disgusting things of all. He said that the wardens are changed out about every 3 or 4 months, these wardens are the ones that run the normal day to day operations and answer to the officials in charge.
He said the reason the wardens are changed out every 3 or 4 months is because they get burned out on the constant torture in about that amount of time.
He said when he first got to be a warden he enjoyed torturing and looked forward to it.
He said after 3 months he didn"™t have an interest in torturing people any longer, it just stopped doing anything for him.

He described things he had done and been party to while he was a warden. He said in the prison he worked at had a laboratory divided into three sections. The fellow is an engineer by trade. It was real disturbing to watch him be very thorough in his descriptions all the while being detached from the events.

He said when they would get a family sent to them for "śCollective Punishment"ť the family would be subject to testing. The man made a simple drawing of the glass rooms that the testing is done in. He described how the people were first striped naked and checked for any signs of un-healthiness. He described how families were of special interest because they worked and reacted to save any kids. He said that if it were non-related members they just stood around in the corners till they all died. If it was a family the mother and fathers would do their best to breath for the kids, even as the parents were vomiting and dieing themselves.
In other words, parents would fight what ever poison or suffocation harder so that the kids might somehow live while the single people would just stand in a corner till they fell over dead.

Not only was the events he described sickening and disturbing, but his detached manner made a disturbing impression. At one point near the end of his interview he was asked how he felt about killing the people at the time he was doing it. He said at the time he didn"™t give it any thought. He said for a while he enjoyed the killing and torture.
He said he looked on the prisoners as enemies of the state.

When he was asked what the children were guilty of, the look on his face made me think he had never seriously asked himself that question. He went on to say that mostly he just saw the kids as an extension of the guilt of the parents.

To hear it all described in detail was awful, to hear it described in such a detached manner was disturbing.

I am sending some e-mails to DirecTV to see if the show will be re-ran. If it is I will be sure to post the new airing.
It is a show everyone should watch if they are old enough.

Thanks for showing some interest Charlie P.

Thanks
Mr-Pirk
