Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The Budweiser Story

Got this in an email and couldn't find it listed on snopes.com. It 's a good one.

Quote:
The Budweiser Story

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those who died on the 11th
of September, 2001...Thought you might like to know what happened in
a little town north of Bakersfield, California.

After you finish reading this, please forward this story on to others
so that our nation and people around the world will know about those
who laughed when they found out about the tragic events in New York,
Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon.

On September 11th, a Budweiser employee was making a delivery to a
convenience store in a California town named McFarland. He knew of
the tragedy that had occurred in New York when he entered the
business to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and
hollering to show their approval and support of this treacherous
attack.

The Budweiser employee went to his truck, called his boss and told
him of the very upsetting event! He didn't feel he could be in that
store with those horrible people. His boss asked him, "Do you think
you could go in there long enough to pull every Budweiser product and
item our beverage company sells there? We'll never deliver to them
again." The employee walked in, proceeded to pull every single
product his beverage company provided and left with an incredible
grin on his face. He told them never to bother to call for a
delivery again. Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice for that
community. Just letting you know how Kern County handled this
situation.

And Now The Rest Of The Story:

It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man are neighbors. Bud
called Pepsi and told him. Pepsi called his boss who told him to pull
all Pepsi products as well!!! That would include Frito Lay, etc.
Furthermore, word spread and all vendors followed suit! At last
report, the store was closed indefinitely. Good old American
Passive-Aggressive Whoopin!

Pass this along, America needs to know that we're all working
together!

If you can read this... Thank a teacher... If you are reading it in
English....THANK A SOLDIER!!!

God Bless America !!

Thanks briman. I had checked Snopes under the business section and didn't find any mention of this. I didn't realize that Snopes has all 911 rumors under their "rumors of war" section.

I'd like to think that some American companies would refuse to do business with those who hate our country, I'm sure there are some out there but I don't think Budweiser would be one of them. Remember, they are the company who caved to the Rainbow coalition and gave Jesse Jackson's son one of their most lucrative distributorships to appease the race pirates.

That rumor may have started or been "borrowed" from a story that I remember happening shortly after 9/11. I don't remember where it actually was but I want to say it was either a Coke, Pepsi or beer distributor delivery driver who went into a store owned/operated by some ragheads. The clerk/owner made a statement that was something along the lines of, "Well America got what was coming too it". With that the driver yanked the raghead over the counter and whipped his arse (rightfully so if you ask me!).

The end result was the company fired the driver immediately and I can't remember for sure, but I want to say assult charges were filed against him for beating Hadji's azz. Budweiser has a long history of supporting Democrats BUT that all began with the original founder Aldophus Busch and his son "Augie" Busch Jr in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Strictly for political reasons they have endorsed and encouraged their distributors to support Dems. Budweiser has always been a STRONG supporter of many conservative past times like hunting, fishing, gun owners rights etc... Most of the distributors that I know are Dems as well. BUT they are not the typical bleeding heart, socialists like Hillary Clinton and Howard Dean that run the party today. Their involvement in politics is strictly business.

When you sell BILLION$ of ANYTHING you have to be careful and not alienate anyone. A company the size of Budweiser is a cash furnace that while making a load, also costs a load to keep going. Protests and boycotts are not something you want, regardless of who it is or why. With as much of "America" as Budweiser supports, I hardly think anyone can question their loyalty. Likewise for Coke. Now Pepsi on the other hand, they have been MUCH MORE LIBERAL in their supports than many other megacompanies. But again, when you look at their individual distributors and those employees you see much more typical "conservative Americans" who are just doing their job and going home too their families at night.

As for the raghead gettin drug over the counter and havin his arse whopped, GOOD FOR HIM and if he don't like America he can always go back to herding sheep and camels in Arabia...
