You can't tell me that Israel didn't know they were going to kill kids in this atttack. You attack an ice cream truck yiou will kill children. They were not after any leaders just a couple of militants.

No one is immune," Mofaz told Army Radio, a day after an Israeli air strike on an ice cream truck killed two Islamic Jihad militants and three bystanders in Gaza City. Two of those killed were children, ages eight and 14.
This is a terroist act in my book.

RE: What's a couple more kids
I can see that, but is it not also the fault of the Palestinians for using an ice-cream truck as a cover for their activates? They werent in the ice-cream truck to sale ice-cream. For the record, I feel the whole thing is horrible and a tragidy.

Unintended consequences and God have one thing in common: Liberals don’t believe in either of them.
Where does it say they were in the ice cream truck?

Israel's acting prime minister vowed on Tuesday that his Kadima Party would shave billions off settlement spending, while his defense minister advised the incoming Palestinian prime minister to fear for his life if Hamas militants start attacking Israel again.
So it allright if others in the middle reast threaten Israel's leaders with assination right?

Hamas, which is in the process of forming a Cabinet, has rejected international calls to renounce its violent, anti-Israel ideology, but has maintained a year-old moratorium on suicide bombings. On Tuesday, Mofaz warned that Hamas leaders, including the incoming prime minister, Haniyeh, could be targets of pinpointed Israeli killings. Israel's policy of targeted killings has proven effective, and will continue, the defense minister said.
Pin point killing? Funny name because those pin point killings have left a lot of dead kids behind.

Israel's policy of targeted killings has proven effective, and will continue, the defense minister said.
"There is no question about its efficacy," Mofaz said. "Look what happened to Hamas in the years it conducted an untrammeled suicide bombing war against us. When we started the targeted killings, the situation changed, he said, referring to Hamas' suspension of attacks.
Asked if Haniyeh would be a target if Hamas were to resume attacks, Mofaz replied: "If Hamas, a terror organization that doesn't recognize agreements with us and isn't willing to renounce violence, presents us with the challenge of having to confront a terror organization, then no one there will be immune. Not just Ismail Haniyeh. No one will be immune."
When you get atacked as often as the Israelis do it's hard to blame them for lashing out , and when your targets are such cowards that they rarely go out in public without being surrounded by innocent bystanders then sometimes sheit just happens .

So it's allright for the palestinians to lash out. I tell you what ,I take my little brother to get an ice cream and Israeli jet hits the truck with a missle, I might lash out.
I'm laying in bed and bull dozers come in and start knocking down houses of suspected terroists I might decide to lash out.
Sharon did some terrible things in Palestine and we recognize him as a leader, but Israel can threaten whom ever they want.
Every citizenin Israel except for orthodox jews and children is a member of their armed forces, are they all fair targets?

then no one there will be immune. Not just Ismail Haniyeh. No one will be immune."
Or should every Isaeli be a target because that sounds like what is being said here, that every Palestinain will be a target.

They target each other about equally Charlie , and they have for thousands of years .
In the old days they sacked whole city states and razed them to the ground killing thousands of innocent bystanders just to get the few whom they actually wanted , now they target individuals who just happen to be most vulnerable while in the company of a couple of kids because they won't crawl out from under their rocks without them . Both are reprehensible , but which is preferable ? Don't say "neither" , you know that isn't gonna happen .
In any conflict innocents will suffer , the only cure is peaceful coexistance and neither side seems to want that .
