Yep, and also in line to take a place at the universtity that a good American kid could use. The university stated he is simply taking
courses that are not part of a 4 year diploma, but if you look a little closer, he is taking these courses to become eligible to start a 4 year program. Got to love the spin.[:'(][/align]

If any of you guys ever attended grad school for a masters or doctrorial in the math or engineering world, you will see over 80% of the students are on visas. I guess Chinese, middle easterners, and indians are more interested in Engineering that US students.
Its not that US students can't attend, they choose not too, alot of these advisors would be more than happy to have a good ole boy take a interest in Fiber Nonliniarities, or holifiber theory or soliton technology. I know I was welcomed with open arms.
As usual, we need balance. You don't want to keep visa students completely out, but on the other hand, this is rediculus but nothing new for the past 40 years.
Bottom line, US has the best grad schools in the world, and facilitates most students in the world.
