UAE taking over ports, just another thought.

Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but what will happen to Jewish buisnesses who need to use our ports. UAE will not allow Jews in their home ports, nor allow anything Jewish. How will this effect use if they take over one of our ports. I know they will not be able to repress the Jews here, but what would be the over all effect of having a repressive body in charge?

This might have been brought up before, I have been gone a while.

DPW would be required to obey any and all laws in order to do business here. If they made any moves towards discriminating against Jews, the Department of Labor and/or Justice would be on them in a heartbeat.

Interesting question, though. It has not been posed by any of the experts or pundits in Washington as far as I know.

I guess I was thinking that we keep hearing this is good for our Arab relations, but what about Jewish relations. I still dont know how I feel about the deal.

The way I see it, Jews have been in America since the beginning. Arabs and Jews all know this. And furthermore, it's not like Israel can afford to give us the cold shoulder.

Come on, burnie, you know you want to support the deal....
