"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar." These words of Julius Caesar with his policies of foreign wars ring true to this day. So do the words: "Beware the ides of March!"
Well I always say follow the money. Iran has decided they no longer want to trade oil for american dollars. Big mistake.... just ask the former dictator in Iraq. He was our good buddy till he decided he would rather deal in Euros than dollars..............dabow

I believe the U.N. will be forced to take a look at this mess.
That's reassuring. We can aways count on our friendly neighborhood corrupt socialists at the UN to take a small problem and turn it into a big problem.

If they dont, Israel will start bombing them, just like before. Who could blame them.
A little off-topic, but I found it very interesting to learn that Iran actually collaborated closely with the Israelis to destroy Iraq's Tammuz reactors in 1980 / 1981. History has a great sense of irony.

Rafsanjani is an idiot if he thinks that any muslim state could even try to fire a nuke at Israel without them knowing it and firing first . They haven't existed where they are for this long for no reason , as any muslim state that's crossed swords with them has discovered to their dismay . If the Iranians get their hands on a nuke Israel will blast them to Mars long before they can do anything with it .

I watched a news special on the Iran/Isreal ordeal last year, and Isreal already has a strategical strike against Iran planned and ready to use. So far they have only been practicing this plan, but I believe they will soon put it into action if Iran continues to threaten Isreal at their current pace. The true question will be, will the U.S. intervene, or let the two nations nuke each other off of the map? We all know the U.N. is out of the equation because they are a joke.
