First of all, that's friggin' disgusting. Second of all, it doesn't surprise me that the company would pull as stunt like this. Instead of focusing on the guilty party alone, they punish everyone in order to get their way. That decision stands at odds against the Fourth Amendment as far as I'm concerned.

If I were caught in this situation, I would refuse the DNA test, accept my pink slip, and promptly sue for wrongful termination and get a few weeks pay to cover me while I find a new job.

I'm not one to promote frivolous lawsuits, but I think thiscompany is way out of line.

First of all- he returned from several weeks off? I want that job. I could put up with someone peeing on my tools if I never had to use them.

Second- A better policy would be to let the guy start kickin' a**es, until he's kicked everyone's. Then, you don't invade anyone's privacy, yet they still get punished. Maybe whoever did it would come forward after he saw a few nurses get bodyslammed. Or just call in Chuck, and he'll kill everyone who ever looked at the toolbox.

Does this mean somebody urinated on this guy's toolbox or just placed a sample jar inside his toolbox? Is this a taxpayer supported hospital? If so, then I think it's a misuse of tax dollars.

what i find even more curious is that the National Endowment for the Arts has yet to come forward and award a grant to the offending employee.

Sounds like the hospital is setting themselves up to bring a lawsuit as well.
