Im sick of everyone telling me I have to be P.C..
In light of all the Muslim crap, I keep hearing that we (meaning White Christian Americans) have to be sensitive to Muslims. Why? I can dislike them If I want. Their beliefs tell them to hate me and my family simply because we are American, White, and Christian. Their hatred goes to the point of calling for my death, and yours too if you are an American. Im Christian, and I believe I should not hate anyone, but it doesn't say I have to like them. I don't want anyone dead, and do not hate anyone, but im sick of being inundated with the notion I have to watch my mouth, step softly, and not upset them. Why? Sorry for the rant, I just finished reading Gores speech to Saudi and got all bent. I guess what im saying is, I dont have to invite them to my Birthday party if I dont want to.[/align]

I know this will be like arguing with a brick wall, but you do understand that not all Muslims can be lumped into one group, right? And that the vast majority of Muslims are nothing like what you describe, right?
That's like the Muslim community lumping all Christians into one category and ascribing them all the characteristics of Eric Rudolph as if he represents the entire group.
Also, you are wrong about the Islamicbeliefs calling for Muslims to hate you or anyone else. In actuality, Islam is the most passive of the major three religions, as it is recognizes Christianity and Judaism as logical steps on the the way to Islam. You are confusing a few deranged ultra-radical terrorists who are using Islam as an excuse to do violence with the entire group.
But I know that isn't what you'll want to hear - you want to know that it is as simple as "us" versus "them" so you can paint all Muslims with the same brush and not have to worry about actually caring about who is the actual problem.

The big difference, as ifferd said, is Christians denounce the wrongs of the radical nut jobs. Show me where any Muslim leaders have done so. That is my point. If I dont want to like them, I dont have too. Plan and simple.

Burn, I hear ya. We haven't became threatened enough to start coming together. We always do. Don't worry. Politics is a big ole poker game. Usually the ACLU and people like that overplay thier hands. They will be fighting a good fight and then try the knockout punch. Antihandgun groups tried it in the 80's and 90's, now most states have right to carry laws. Reverse happened to what they thought. Gay rights groups are trying it now.
RE: Im sick of everyone telling me I have to be P.C..
Going to work last night I was listening to Sports radio and a guy calls in and said IF NASCAR had more minority drivers he'd get into the sport. Because there wasn't an equal ammount or white, black and hispanic races, NASCAR in his eyes was a terribly descrimetive sport
Yet he probably watches NBA (80% black guys) and NFL (probably 60-65% black guys or more)
If he TRULY felt sports should be based on racism, clearly the NBA and NFL are racist by not allowing more white players onto the field. Ahhhhhh, but if its really based on who'd better ? Then maybe white guys drive cars better, not unlike black guys being stronger physicall;y on the field ?

OK - two can play that game: show me where Christians were denouncing Eric Rudolph when he was bombing abortion clinics in the name of Jesus.
But, in answer to your question, here are just a few seconds of Googling's worth of stories with Muslims calling for peace rather than violence:
