Default "Quailgate" ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

You ...Deleted by CalHunter... libbies are CRAZY. You just cant quit can you? You are really just showing the nation what a bunch of ...Deleted by CalHunter... you are tonight.

First the media wants to piss and moan because they weren't told about it soon enough to suit them. WHO ...Deleted by CalHunter... said it was their business in the first place?

Earlier this afternoon it was stated that the Texas game dept issued a ticket too Cheney for not having a new quail stamp supplement too his regular hunting license (this is the first season they have had such!).

NOW the bastion of libbie/pinko...Deleted by CalHunter... reporting, CNN has an "sneakpeak" of Lettermans Lateshow Top 10 which obviously will be about Cheney. ...Deleted by CalHunter... David Letterman is a DISPICABLE person. He is using this story for his own publicity and by releasing this 10 ten he obviously is trying to garner ratings and get attention.

I'll give him attention, why don't we push for a Letterman "BAN" like some of you have been clamoring about for Jimmy Houston lately???

...Deleted by CalHunter... libbies, they are the downfall of this greatest of nations! [&o]

NO GA I think the only thing that woulda been ok about Cheney shooting is...Deleted by CalHunter...

I'm so SICK of hearing a bunch of nitpicking, truth sidestepping MORONIC yap yaps, like a bunch of miserable little dogs that they ARE about this subject!

POACHER? You wish, BTW if you are a gunowner and still continue to support Damocraps then you are a TRAITOR for supporting anti-gunners.

Look in the mirror, you'll find ALL the problems there you are seeking!

Breathe red, now first of all Democrats, republicans, nor independants are traitors. In fact our last two democratic governers have a perfect rating from the NRA.

Secondly It is sad you feel it is ok to shoot anyone that you disagree with. Guess it goes back to what type of character a man has.

Lastly, if he did not have the proper tags to harvest the game he was hunting, it is in fact poaching.

He was poaching and he shot into grass that was evidently thick enough that he couldn't safely see his line of sight. What if the guy had died? The issue is now even being debated on ESPN. You want to ban Letterman, well O'Rielly just made a joke about the Cheney situation. He said in his most ridiculous iten of the day that "Cheney shot a lawyer, fill in lawyer joke here". Aparently shooting someone is a non-partisen comical issue.

Cheney's unforgiving, generally angry and uncaring attitude, and his scowling pretentious demeanor that many conservatives love because he seems tough, now leaves him as a caricature. We don't see him out talking about this accident, and using it as a learning opportunity to spread safe hunting practices. People are asking if this is a criminal offense, which is an entirely legit question. If someone plows into someone with a car, we don't just chalk that up to an accident, that person is charged with a crime. When you put a deadly weapon in your hands, you take other people's lives into your hands, and when someone evidently doesn't take this seriously enough as Cheney did not in this case, he deserves everything coming to him.

Hunting without a valid license is poaching. Cheney was poaching, plus he shot some guy. The media was not informed for over 21 hours. Those are the facts.

How stating them makes someone an "expletive deleted to save Cal Hunter the work... libby" is totally beyond me.

It was irresponsible, unethical, and just downright stupid. Our second in command shot a man and it was kept hush, hush. Not very democratic. I would expect more from a Vice President..........well actually lately, I don't expect much of anything from this bunch.

Alaska, you're going to have to explain for me exactly why it is the administration's responsibility to inform the media?

OH YEAH, WELL WHAT ABOUT TED KENNEDY??????...............just kidding

I think the Veep was definately poaching. As far as being prosecuted on anything else, he shouldn't be. You take your chances choosingyour huntingpartners and I'll bet this guy thinks twice when Cheney invites him on another $10,000.00 per plate quail hunt.

No matter what, I think Cheney owes a fine (for poaching) and a public apology to all sportsmen and the State Wildlife Agency. Darn right

Ben,

The administration should have released this information immediately. This is the second only to the commander in chief of our country. You know, the country of the people, for the people, by the people?????

Is this lost on you? The second highest position in our government is involved in a shooting and it is not broadcast to the citizens?

Sometimes Ben..........
