Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Democratic Youth Propaganda

This is pretty sick, but not toosurprising. Ifind it exceedingly offensive to start pushing politics, a very complex adult subject, onto children in the elementary school age range. The Left has already taken over the public school system, but apparently that's not enough. This kind of BS just shows exactly how desperate the Democrats are to hold onto their fading power. If you can't win over the voting adults, keep brainwashing the kids.

I haven't seen anything like this come from the Republican camp, but if I did, I would denounce it as well.

I agree that the an overt attempt at pushing politics on kids is pretty bizarre. However, kids pick up the values of the parents by osmosis, with or without a primer and bunnies.

No doubt about that. It's simply the author's intent that really burns me. Can't help but let therealities of political partisanshipget to me on occasion.

When I saw the cover and title for the first time, the association I made was instant and clear: "Hitler Youth".

Have you checked out the sample pages? I'm almost wondering if somebody isn't having a lot of satirical fun at the liberal dems myopic expense.

There not the only ones doing it.

This full-color illustrated book is a fun way for parents to teach young children the valuable lessons of conservatism. Written in simple text, readers can follow along with Tommy and Lou as they open a lemonade stand to earn money for a swing set. But when liberals start demanding that Tommy and Lou pay half their money in taxes, take down their picture of Jesus, and serve broccoli with every glass of lemonade, the young brothers experience the downside to living in Liberaland.
"Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed!" offers a witty alternative to the usual liberal fare, demonstrating the virtues of capitalism and true diversity of expression in words and pictures that both kids and adults can laugh along with.
With the nation"™s libraries and classrooms filled with overtly liberal children"™s books advocating everything from gay marriage to marijuana use, kids everywhere are being deluged with left-wing propaganda. "Help! Mom! There Are Liberals Under My Bed" is the book conservative parents have been seeking. This illustrated book "” the first in the "Help! Mom!" series from Kids Ahead "” is perfect for parents who seek to share their traditional values with their children, as well as adults who wish to give a humorous gift to a friend.
Hailed as "the answer to a baseball mom's prayers" by talk radio host Melanie Morgan, "Liberals Under My Bed" has already been the subject of coverage in The Wall Street Journal and Harper"™s magazine. Written by a self-proclaimed "Security Mom for Bush" and featuring hilarious full-color illustrations by a Reuben Award winning artist, it is certain to be one of the most talked about children's books of the year.
Reading Level: Ages 4-8
Hardcover, 54 pages. Full-color illustrations.
As a very special added bonus, when you purchase "Help! Mom! There are Liberals Under My Bed!" from WorldNetDaily's online store, you can also receive "“ FREE "“ three issues of Whistleblower magazine, which many have called the best news magazine in the world. That's a $22.50 free value

Yes, it does. I relate to the humor of the Help Mom! ... book, but I still feel that young children should remain off-limits politically. I thinkAmerican parents shouldwork on the basics--saying "please" and "thank you", holding the door for old ladies and waiting your turn--before indoctrinating their children withconservative or liberal talking points.

I don't mind my kids hearing a political idea while in school... as long as it comes from the right!!!

THIS kind of crap is why ALL 3 of mine attend private school and will for the duration. Think about it, if your kids attend public school you are forced to accept the fact that... "Your kids are being taught by government employees!!!" [:'(][][:@][:-][&o]

One of my favorite "isms" is: If you've become a conservative by 18 you are heartless. If you are still a liberal by 30 you are BRAINDEAD!!!

I was born heartless I reckon,

Good stuff. I was just looking at the sample pages http://littledemocrats.net/samples.html

Substitute "Socialist" for "Democrat" (which are increasingly synonymous) and we see the left's true colors:

"Why Mommy is a Socialist"

"Socialists make sure we all share our toys, just like Mommy does."

"Socialists make sure we are always safe [from ourselves], just like Mommy does."

"Socialists make sure children can go to school, just like Mommy does."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"What really counts in the world is conscientiousness, and the Democrat Party is most particular about being conscientious."

"Our country and all the otherDemocraticcountries want peace; so do the peoples of all the countries of the world. The only ones who crave war and do not want peace are certain monopoly capitalist groups in a handful of imperialist countries which depend on aggression for their profits."

Oops, the last two aren't from the "Why Mommy..." book, they are adaptedfrom Chairman Mao. It's easy to confuse his Little Red Book with theLittle Democrats Book.
