Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I'll pick a nice round number like March 20th.

I'm kind of worried about this one, my father-in-law is going to Israel in mid-March.

didnt ya ever do the air raid drills underyour desks in school?

But itsnice to see there making plans& pre - paring.

Quote:
Air strikes would be supported by ballistic missiles carrying conventional warheads fired from Trident nuclear submarines if an attack is delayed for two years. That is the length of time required to convert the highly accurate missiles from their current nuclear configuration to conventional explosives.
2 yrs to change out the nuks to conventional warheads? Thats sure is a long time- ud think they would have both on hand.

But seeing that this is just another news story- based on many speclations im sure - maybe they do. 9or it dosnt take as long as they say, who knows)

We don't want to attack with nukes, that's why they're being swapped. We should let Israel take care of this one with our support. They have more at stake and need to start contributing...

We should be making plans for every possibility/last resort. It doesn't and shouldn't mean that is our intent at this time.

If Iran is working on developing nukes, I support taking out that capability. Whether this be done by Israeli pilots or US pilots doesn't matter to me.

When will a strike occur? One time frame might be dictated by a stalemate on the diplomatic front or by the timing of when we think they might be able to field a weapon. Another time frame might be dictated by appropriate public sentiment timing. What better time than right now? People around the world are sensitized to the lunacy of muslims rioting and killing people over rightous cartoons (frankly, showing Mohammed with a turban in the shape of a bomb is right on the money and a rightous critique in my judgment). The Iranian president has done a very persuasive job of making the case for the irrationality and roguish behavior of the Iranian state. What better time than right now to wax these guys? Just something to think about.

What is the appropriate timing? Lots of issues play into this question.
