In a recent eminent domain case in Georgia the forces of "progress whether you like it or not" took a loss . The state of georgia is also reevaluating it's ED laws to try to prevent abuses of them . Sometimes the good guys do win .

Yep good to see that .

Buildings are going up fast here lately near & in town- progress(where there was once just large heards of lopes)
Been watching the progress there making on #2 superwalmart in town to when i go there- pretty fast progress- dont even know how they do enough bussiness for another 8 miles away - but i guess the do.

Guess its another wal mart camping place too- the west side one has even better views of the mtns to the south from its parking lots

Funny thing is, it seems like the revolt against eminent domain is championed by conservatives and liberals alike. Isthere one party or the other who pushedfor eminent domain to the extent it's been taken?

Just the SC justices who are out of touch and think Europe should dictate how we interpret our constitution and laws.

That still baffles me. I just do not understand using European laws to (re)interpret ours.
