Default Free Trade-yea

WE traded our jobs for what?

For all of 2005 the personal savings rate was at minus 0.5%. That was the lowest annual savings rate since a decline of 1.5% in 1933, a year in which the country was struggling to cope with the Great Depression.

Thats from USATodays Money page if you want to really get mad.

I think another five weeks vacation at Crawford might clear Wyas head.

"WE traded our jobs for what?"

It appears some of our elected representatives traded them for campaign contributions. Look at the Abramoff scandal.

Darn! If Kerry had won, the interest rate would be higher, gas would only be 50 cents a gallon, and the world would have a warm fuzzy all day!

I can name a lot of people I don't think have clean hands. That doesn't provide an excuse for any of them.

The personal savings rate has zero to do with free trade , you can't force folks to save if they don't want to .
